Welcome!

And thank you for being here. My name is Ellis and I am a fully qualified Psychodynamic Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, trainer and speaker.

Alongside working with counselling and supervision clients in private practice, I provide transformative training to counsellors in working affirmatively around gender, and also deliver comprehensive training in trans awareness, and in anti-racist practice, to organisations around the UK in Internationally.

I firmly believe that down to earth, trauma-informed and accessible training is the best route towards transformative practices for ourselves, our colleagues and the institutions and clients we support.

Taking into account how we grapple with being challenged and outside of our comfort-zones, I am skilled in making complex concepts clear and actionable. I take a heart-full and care-full approach to complex and emotive topics, developing meaningful and actionable change from the inside out and leaving no one behind.

My approach is influenced by a love for the Earth and by Black feminism, addressing how colonialism and intersecting oppressive structures in society (and throughout history) have a profound effect on our mental, spiritual and physical health. As a transgender man of colour, I bring a personal perspective that resonates deeply with those seeking knowledge and understanding.
